Sport is equally important to a kid’s upbringing as education, I recommend you engage you children in sports at an early age starting from under 6 or earlier depending on the sport they choose to play. The Banksia Tigers Football Club Inc. is a none for profit organisation which was formed by a group of local business people and professionals who had a common goal to deliver sporting and recreational services to the wider community.
The club has grown from 65 registered players in 2005 to an incredible 680 players in 2022 with expectancies to grow even further in years to come. Being the youngest club in the ST George district Banksia Tigers FC has already proven to be a record breaking club with several successes stories within its first 15 years of competition, which include more than 25 premierships and the qualification of the Under 14A’s, U15A’s,16A’s, U17A’s & 18A’s and our Premier League Men and Woman teams in the champions of champions competition.
In 2010, 2018, 2020 & 2022 Banksia Tigers FC achieved the ultimate prize in the St George Football District by winning the Premier League Men‟s Title. In 2017, 2018 & 2019 Banksia Tigers Achieved another ultimate prize in the ST George Football district by winning the Woman Premier League title.2020 proved to be the most successful year for the tigers since inception. Wining 6 grand finals including the Mens Premier League double.
